IAEA Chief To Visit Iran On April 16
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi is expected to visit Iran on Wednesday, April 16, an Iranian diplomat said.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi announced on Monday that the UN nuclear chief will travel to Tehran on April 16.
Grossi is scheduled to hold talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami, he noted.
“The visit will take place within the framework of the continued interactions and cooperation between the two sides,” Gharibabadi added.
Grossi last came to Iran in November 2024 and paid visits to two uranium enrichment sites in Fordow and Natanz.
