Delegations from Iran and the European troika have held a new round of negotiations in Switzerland, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced.

Tasnim contacted the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman to ask about the course of negotiations between Iran and the EU3 (the UK, France and Germany) on Tehran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions.

Esmaeil Baqaei said the new round of the talks have been held at the level of experts in Geneva on Thursday, March 27.

He noted that the new round of negotiations were held “to discuss various aspects of issues on both the removal of sanctions and the nuclear” activities of Iran.

The previous round of talks between Iran and the EU3 had been held on February 24 on the sidelines of a trip that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi paid to Geneva.
